Verify Your Download

Every WordSearchZ release is published with official checksums so you can confirm the file you downloaded is complete and untampered. Generate a hash from your downloaded file, then match it against the value listed below. Looking for what changed in each build? See the Changelog.

Which hash should I trust?

SHA-256 is the value to rely on for integrity — use it whenever you can. MD5 is provided only as a convenience for detecting accidental download corruption and should not be treated as proof of authenticity.

A checksum confirms a file arrived intact. For tamper-evidence, always download from the official wordsearchz.com domain or while the app is open, click check for updates.

How to generate a checksum

Pick your operating system, run the command in the folder containing your download, then compare the result to the matching value in the tables below. Adjust the file name to match what you actually downloaded.
